Ewrs is a professional firm that takes pride in the service we provide. It takes years of experience, hard work and education to perform in these areas.
Just because a company or a person calls themselves a professional does not qualify them to conduct energy audits or market air quality equipment.
We see more advertisements of people offering energy audits or preventive maintenance services because they have purchased a thermal camera. A energy audit or preventive maintenance service can not be conducted just by using a thermal camera. Even if they have a certification as a thermographer does not qualify them. Additional training and certifications MUST be acquired first. In addition years of field experience should be achieved as well to provide accurate testing and reports.
Companies or persons that are marketing portable air cleaners should be tested by a professional before selling them. We provided a demonstration to one of these private ECO green companies in Portland, Oregon using our CO2 meters that sells these air cleaners. When we tested the air coming out of the air cleaner it was approx, 500 ppm higher than the indoor air. The owner that markets these air cleaners had several of them operating in her home. She immediately turned them off. However in the past year she said that she had sold many of them. Always check the certifications of people or companies before hiring them.

We work with other government agencies, state and local jurisdictions, national code organizations, and industry to promote stronger building energy codes and help states adopt, implement, and enforce those codes. To inspect or implement building materials as a whole that will increase energy efficiency of that structure.
