We can help if you are starting a preventative maintenance program or if you need to review an existing maintenance routine.   Do, covers need to be removed? Yes. It is most common for on site personnel to remove the covers before the inspection. Infrared imagers cannot see trough covers or enclosures. Do, we need to shutdown equipment? No. Inspected equipment should be operating under normal load. Most electrical equipment has a service interlock that allows access without interrupting service. How often do I need to inspect? Electrical Systems should be inspected at least once a year. Mechanical Systems should be checked frequently to establish comprehensive trending data.
